Where are the maps?
Maps are available all over New Bern, at most galleries, including The Red Shoe Gallery, The Greater Good Gallery, The Sanctuary Gallery, Wine & Design, Community Artists Gallery & Studios, The Bank of The Arts, Shop Class, Accidental Artist, and The Uptown Gallery.
You can also download a map for yourself here.
There is a group on Facebook named Neuse River Artists (https://www.facebook.com/groups/neuseriverartists/) that has over 500 members. This group of talented people was the ignition for the tour, and it is ever growing.
We wanted to give the public a chance to meet us, and see our work outside of a gallery setting.
All About The Tour
This year's tour will take place May 11th and 12th, with a kickoff event at the Harrison Center on Middle Street as part of New Bern's Art Walk. There you can meet several of the artists on the tour, each having a small display of the work they will be showing during the weekend.
This free tour began in 2018, stemming from the recognition that there is an incredible amount of creative and skilled talent in our small part of Eastern North Carolina.
The tour gives art lovers of all ages an opportunity to meet artists in the spaces that they create, or in hub centers to meet with artists and see much more of their work than you can find in galleries, along with the chance to purchase their creations directly from the artists themselves.
